Every session begins with a relaxed conversation focusing on you and - all importantly - what you’re hoping for from our session. I’ll welcome you with a glass of Prosecco, chilled mineral water or coffee.
Then, using professional colour drapes, I’ll hold many different colours against you in natural light to see how each one interacts with your skin tone, the contrast between your hair and eyes, and your overall look. This discovery phase is genuinely lovely - your best colours will light your face up from within.
We’ll also focus on personal styling for your lifestyle, focusing in particular on where you are in your life: often, people come to me when they’re facing a change of some kind. Starting or returning to work, motherhood or menopause: all these milestones can leave us feeling that we need to connect with ourselves again. I’ll show you your colours on your face, too, using high-end brands available in John Lewis and other stores.
At the end of the session, you’ll leave with a personal colour palette and practical guidance about using your colours and styling advice in your daily life.
I run sessions for individuals, giving us the opportunity for a private conversation and a deep dive, for two people (mother and daughter is lovely, as is finding out your colours with a friend). If you’d like me to come to your small group gatherings, I’d love to discuss that too.
Individual session: £190 (around 1 hour 30 minutes). For two: £330 (around 2 hours 45 minutes).

The colour of our surroundings transforms how we feel. Colour psychology focuses on emotional responses we have to particular colours.
Painting our walls blue or yellow, deciding whether to upholster a sofa in a moss or emerald green and wondering whether it will harmonise with a beloved patterned rug - make your decision armed with knowledge and insights from colour theory, focusing on the function of a space and the way you want to feel within it,
The artist Johannes Itten noticed how his art students instinctively preferred to paint using palettes that complemented their own personal colouring. If you’re deciding on colours for your home and haven’t yet had a Personal Colour Analysis, why not consider having one?
I don’t offer a full interior design service - think of me as a friend with expert knowledge of colour and a huge enthusiasm for interiors. Contact me to discuss your needs and I’ll be here to help with site visits, also offering personal shopping for paint, papers or furniture.

Do you feel stuck in a wardrobe rut? Are you feeling out-of-date, yet never see trends you like? Do you feel pangs of guilt about buying new clothes yet do it anyway, only to find yourself back at square one? You may be about to start a job with a dress code that doesn’t feel like you, or wondering what on earth to wear after having a baby, Perhaps you’d like to express yourself differently through colours and clothes, in response to a big event in your life.
My approach is not to give you rigid rules or guidelines based on outdated rules that constrain us. I’m about easy, joyful dressing that makes you feel your best.
I offer a fresh pair of eyes and an empathetic mind to help you see the potential in many of the clothes you already own, help identify the ones that really need to go, and hone down on the genuine wardrobe gaps that, if filled, could give much-loved older garments a new lease of life. A conversation about your personal style is foundational, as is a Colour Analysis - if you haven’t had one, I’d love to help!
I can visit you at home and open those wardrobe doors with you, and take you shopping too. There’s the High Street of course, and online, but also all the other places: dress agencies, vintage shops and charity rails, and - when a special occasion demands it - high-end design.. In Oxford, we’re lucky to be close to Bicester Village.
